Undertones are hand crafted from sanded and stained barn wood.
First the moulding is sanded down to achieve a smooth bare surface. Then we stain the wood with as many coats of the particular shade as are needed to bring out the depth of the color. Finally, a semi-gloss polyurethane coating is applied to protect and highlight the wood tones. The result is a rich, natural looking moulding that lends itself to images ranging from antique to modern and beyond. Available in four shades: Ebony, Redwood, Golden Clay, and Earth Brown in all widths and photo frames in 4×6, 5×7, and 8×10 formats.
